Have a good trip Smilla!

All the staff at the Vegetarian Festival wishes Paolo & Smilla a good trip! Our heroes set off this morning from Gorizia on board Ronzinante to begin their Sidecar Smilla tour. Their journey will touch twenty places where animalist associations and shelters throughout Italy.

They will probably meet lovely and devoted volunteers that take care dogs, cats and other animals saved from slaughter, but we are afraid they will also see overcrowded shelters in desperate conditions. Paolo and Smilla will take pictures, interview people and make videos that you will be able to see on the blog sidecarsmilla.blogspot.it.
