Michele Codogno

Michele Codogno was born in Trieste in 1951, and graduated in 1976 in Natural Science with honours. He has done ecological and botanical research on the vegetation of the Julian Alps. In 1988 he was transferred to the University of Trieste. He actively participated in numerous congresses and conventions both in Italy and abroad and published about sixty scientific papers in books and magazines. Furthermore, since 1992 he has taught several courses at the Science department of the University of Trieste (General Botanics, Systematic Botanics, Phytogeoraphy, Vegetal Ecology). He retired in 2011, but still teaches at the University of Trieste as an eminent scholar.
