Marco Bertali

A published psychiatrist and psychologist, Marco Bertali has been working at the Mental Health Centre “Alto Isontino” in Gorizia since 1983. He is a member of the Italian Association for Transpersonal Psychology and of the Scientific Committee of the “Giù le mani dai bambini” (Hands off the children) organisation, as well as the area representative for the Italian Vegetarian Association, a member of AMeC, VegAnima and LAV. He co-authored the “Manifesto per una psichiatria senza psicofarmaci” (Manifesto for a Psychiatry without psycho-drugs, self-published, 1997), the proceedings of the conference “Quanti bei racconti per una psichiatria senza cerebrofarmaci” (So many beautiful stories for a psychiatric treatment with no brain drugs published in 1998 by the Health Services Agency “n°2 – Isontina”) and many other books, such as “Anima vegetariana, anima fiorita” (Vegetarian soul, blooming soul, manual + DVD + audio CD, Lab. Trasformarsi, 2013), “Per il fiorire del Mondo” (For a Blooming World, Audio CD, Lab. Trasformarsi, 2014).
