As a journalist and an artist, he knows a lot about communication and publishing. Since 1985 he has been embracing the vegetarian lifestyle and now he is an expert in vegetarian cuisine. He created Veganitalia, the Italian website to inform people about veganism. He also promoted a chain called "Green Restaurants" and is a fellow of the Scientific Society of Vegetarian Nutrition.
He holds conferences, courses and workshops on vegetarianism and has published lots of books on this matter, such as: Né di carne né di pesce.
