Devis Bonanni was born in 1984. He grew in Carnia, a mountain region at the northern/eastern borders of Alps. Here he says that he feels like an old and modern inhabitant, a native and a foreigner at the same time.
When he was twenty-three he visited some eco-villages in Italy and abroad and so he decided to abandon his employment as an IT technician to work for the environment. He became a full-time farmer and decided to create an old form of food self-sufficiency with an eco-friendly and sparing way of life.
After this experience he decided to start the project Pecora Nera (literally, black sheep n.d.t.) in order to involve other people in the creation of an ecological and supportive social net.
